A Whiskey-Barrel Surprise from Honduras
A genuinely distinctive Honduran filter coffee, shaped by whiskey-barrel aging and a sweet, dessert-like profile.

This was a genuinely unique coffee. The whiskey-barrel-aged process gives this Honduran lot a character that stands apart from an everyday filter brew.
The bag points toward tiramisu, milk chocolate, and a creamy body—a rich, dessert-like combination that suits the unusual processing. Made from Catuai and Caturra grown at 1,500–1,700 meters, it is a memorable light roast and one I wanted to make sure I noted down.
